Should we expect some nuggets
Should we expect some nuggets from you on the new CCNP SP track?
I don't understand
What is the difference between the CCNP SP Operations and CCNP SP?
Nuggets
So, What will be the next CBT Nuggets then? CCNP Voice please!
Nice track
Please do SPCORE it includes MPLS as well...
its never wrong to renew
its never wrong to renew things but they should not need to eliminate CCIP just because they overlap a little.
if im not wrong CCIP was a good bridge and stepstone from CCNP level towards preparation for CCIE studies.
so the question is if CCNP SP takes that direction or if its more oriented towards products and the needs for a service provider. duh
What's the difference?
I'll second that question...what is the difference between the Service Provider and Service Provider Operations certifications? It's a bit confusing.
This is rubbish.
Not only are they deprecating the old track, none of the certs map over to the new cert as credit. Additionally they stepped up the hardware requirements to study and learn by including the IOS XR.
I have a class scheduled that I need to go cancel. Imagine how CBT Nuggets and Jeremy himself feels because the whole BGP and MPLS tracks he just re-recorded are now also invalidated.
Less rubbishy today...
I found this:
http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/tools/ccip_migration_tool.html
So it appears I can take my class after all and retain credit for training and certs in progress.
I stil can’t understand.
I stil can’t understand.
If you hold a valid CCIP certification do you have to pass 642-887(SPCORE) and 642-889(SPEDGE)exams before October 28, 2012 to get the CCNP SP certification or you can sit for this two exams after this date and still get CCNP SP ?????
I am asking this because I am not sure. After October 28, 2012
your CCIP cert is no longer valid and maybe then you have to pass
all the exams for CCNP SP not only SPCORE and SPEDGE.
Anyone know the answer ?
CCIP to CCNP SP
As long as your CCIP is valid, which is at most three years after 28 October 2012, you can take just SPCORE and SPEDGE to migrate to CCNP SP.
After 28 October 2012 you will be unable to re-certify your CCIP, but your CCIP will still be valid until its expiration date.
CCNA SP prerequisite
CCNA Service Provider is a prerequisite to CCNP Service Provider!
Was whis before??
RE: CCNA SP prerequisite
CCIP had only CCNA as its prerequisite. There was no CCNA Service Provider certification before 15 March 2012. Interestingly, CCNA Service Provider has no prerequisite, unlike other CCNA concentrations.
Cisco will always be cisco.
Cisco will always be cisco. In addition have you checked the price for CCNA SP (this is two exams and each one is $250!!).
Someone should tell cisco that TOO MUCH OF EVERYTHING IS BAD!!! AND THAT INCLUDES MAKING PROFIT AT ALL COST.
Speaking of CCNA SP, I find
Speaking of CCNA SP, I find it very odd Cisco offers no training aides for that cert. I asked Cisco Press, and they told me they dont plan on making any books for that. It looks like a solid foundation to build on, but how do you go about studying something when you dont know what to study?
anything you pick about the
anything you pick about the real world and intergrade with cert is awesome.
CCNA LAB is very valuable lesson, im working in partly networking position and finished CCNP exam. but i still found watching the whole CCNA lab exciting.
i'll get my boss to subscribe the 1999$ CBT.
thanks
ccnp
What study materials would you recommend for this exam?
CBT Nuggets?
Are there any CBT Nuggets that I can study to help prepare for this? If no, any other resources to recommend?
about ccnp sp?
does ccnp sp have MPLS from the basics?
