Hi all.
I've just bought two 2612 and realised that they aren't supporting Fast ethernet :(

I'd like to recycle one of them as an access server by buying a NM-16A. and the second one as a frame relay switch with  an NM-8A/S.
Do you think this will work? Are those compatible?
Cheers
Alex

The 2612 should be able to support both modules. Here's a link with the supported module list for the 2600 and other platforms:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps214/products_tech_note0...

The NM8A/S should work with any code version according to the data here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_tech_note0...

The NM-16A will require certain code versions to work properly as well as octal cables, here's the data on those:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk36/technologies_tech_note09186a0...

Only one module per 2600. Recommend following the hardware installation guide for the specific platform when adding these modules.

Sounds like a fun project. Best of luck building the lab!

Well it's settled then. I'd better start farming on ebay :p
Thanks a lot for confirming my thoughts.
Cheers.
